    Here's one that got away. I sold this car back in the late 80's. Very nice driver GP. The kicker was that someone had installed a 63 421 HO, tri power, correct long branch manifolds and all. The had also replaced the slim jim with the Super Hydramatic. You should have seen the job they did to the tranny tunnel to make it fit!

    Jerry, I've heard the term, but never seen one of them with skirts. I guess it's a generation thing. My generation thinks either luxury= slow or low rider= slow. I do recall a 1966 2+2 add that says tiger scores again and here's a 2+2 in skirts. Now how many youthful performance buyers are goimg to go for that. No wonder they couldn't sell enough of them and the series was gone at the end of 1967!
