hi,dave here is some of the new catalina i bought this fall now it is running .1965 389 and a m20 4-speed.
did you get the article about my 1957-safari
Here are pictures of my '61 Ventura. It was ordered with the 425A engine, 4-speed, Safe-T-Track, 8 lugs. It currently has a later engine that I plan to replace with a correct '61 425A.
Eric, that is a VERY NICE '61! Really classic style with the only year for the "bubble-top." I am no Pontiac engine expert, but that's the first I have heard of the 425A engine. Tell me about it. Also, how long have you had the car, & would like to know something about your restoration process... if you did one; or is it original?
Dave, wondering how you are coming with the '63 Catalina. Do you have any recent pictures? Would love to see any progress you've made. I am assuming it's the Grenadier Red color, & looks like 8-lug wheels. Give us an update!

Very nice bubble top Eric - I'm jealous -
Remember - the 2011 POCI Bowling Green Convention will be paying tribute to the 50th anniversary of the '61 model year - would love to see you there!!!!!!
Here's a photo link to my '64 Catalina 2+2 hardtop presently undergoing a frame off restoration. The progress photos are being updated weekly. We're restoring it pretty much bone stock for now including original Gulf Stream Aqua "Q" paint code with Black Cordova vinyl top. Numbers matching 389 engine with 2bbl carb, single exhaust, and roto hydramatic (Slim Jim) trans. thanks.
