I have a 1978 3/4 ton 454 with the Automatic Transmission and the trailer package. It has the quadrjet carb. Is this considered a tall block or is it the same as an automobile. Were the heads on these apt to cracking like the small blocks? Has anyone used this combo in like the 79-80 malibu? Thanks ahead of time.
