Carter carburetor numbers
With the Carter carburetor part numbers being well published for the GTO, ieg: 4033s for manual transmission, 4034s for autos, and the California carbs, did the 389 325hp engines in the B-bodies use the same carb codes or not? I can't find any literature that breaks down any of this info for the full size cars. Also curious to find out that if a 389 325hp motor was installed in a Grand Prix, Catalina, or a Bonneville, did they all use the same 2-letter engine code or did each model get its own code? Thanks for any info.

I'm glad the POCI is so helpful.
