Brand of tires used in 1948

Does anyone know what brand of tires (Firestone, Goodyear, Goodrich, etc.) Pontiac would have put on a new 1948 Pontiac? I assume all assembly plants would have used the same brand.

I have a 1941 Pontiac 2511 Tudor Sedan with the Original Spare Tire - A U.S. Royal
I also have a 1949 Chevrolet Sport Coupe with it's Original Spare Tire - A U.S. Royal
From this evidence I would guess U.S. Royal (Coker makes a copy of them)
