I have a fully rebuilt 400 for sale. The motor was built for my son 5 years ago by Phil Burkart (yes, Phil Burkart the NHRA Top Fuel Funny Car driver) and only has about 200 miles on it. Right after the build my son moved to Florida for work and needed to sell his '68 LeMans, so I bought the car from him and am just completing a "resto-mod" now. Since I wanted to be in the 500 hp range I decided rather than waste all the money that went into my son's motor, to find a different 400 block and had Phil build a stroker for me. Thus I'm left with my son's motor for sale. Runs great, everything new from the block up. I think the block originally came out of a Firebird. Have approximately $5,500 invested in parts and labor for the rebuild, willing to sell for $2,750. Also includes the 2-speed transmission which works great - not sure which transmission it was other than 2-speed auto.
