Default POCI Survivor Class Repair Question

    Survivor Class Question for POCI

For the POCI Survivor class this year at Dayton. The battery terminals on my Jr Gold 67 Lemans are shot and have to be replaced. They are not the originals… Do I use the available re pop spring clip type cables or the more modern clamp & bolt style. It's a maintenance item and I don’t want it to cost me points…. Any thoughts or advice?

My recommendation would be to use whatever style of battery clamps were original to the car when it was built in 1967. So if it was built with a top post battery, then the correct reproduction spring clip battery cables would be my first choice. If you car came with a side post battery, then side post clamps it is.
