    Default 77-UP Timing Cover

Does anyone have part numbers for the two separately attached timing marker plates used with the 77-up timing covers that have no cast in timing marks (degree marks and numbers). I have learned that the common sheet steel ones are for the smaller harmonic balancer (dampener) used in most 77-up Pontiac engines. There was a plastic one used on the TA-6.6 engine which used the older style larger balancer. I need to find a repro or original of the plastic one used with the larger harmonic balancer, preferably three of these, original or repro is OK. Anyone have a part number or source for these?

    Default

Followup to my original post: I found one late Pontiac timing pointer (scale) bolts onto the late timing cover, made of plastic, has GM part number 547157 on the back. I purchased it on eBay, the seller listed it as 80-81 Trans Am 301 Turbo. It will work with the larger diameter balancer used on the 77-79 TA 6.6 engines. It has a round tube just before the zero mark, for use with electronic crank position sensors maybe? Would like to find one more of these if anyone has any leads as to where to find one.
