Timing
How much timing are you guys with straight eights able to get away with on today's 85-87 octane? More to the point, are you able to set the "gas selector" much advanced past zero?

hi, you will have to find this out on your engine, i would advise that you stay with the factory specs for ignition timing. charles coker, 1953 pontiac tech advisor.
