    Default Re-upholstering Rear Seat

I would like to re-stuff my rear seat, but am unsure how to go about it. I know there is the cotton batting and springs that I can use, but can I supplement this using foam? Would I be able to use a roll of foam to add a little more cushion, and if so, what thickness should I use?

Have you tried contacting an upholsterer to see what they would recommend and also try contacting the technical help from Ames or Performance Years to see what they would do. You might even find some materials they can supply for the job. I know these resto places carry the foam backing for the seats.
