Engine builder

My 400 block (1967 GTO) needs a total rebuild. I would like more power: roller cam, stroked etc. But still very street driveable. Does anyone have a recommendation of a engine builder, preferably near where I live in N. California (Bay Area)?

I would check out the Performance Years forum. Lots of engine builders over there..

Keep compression around 9 and keep cam duration short. I like the factory 068 or the Super Duty #10 cams the best...

Pontiac blocks don't do well with Retro roller cams, I would keep it flat hyd. or flat solid. I like the Crower solid cams the best..
