I am replacing a 215 six with a 326 V8. I replaced the original brake lines several years ago. I noticed at that time substantial differences between the routing for the six compared to the V8s. The six specifies a location completely behind the front frame crossmember, and the V8 is far more contorted running over and back over the frame crossmember. The six cylinder application being pressed againsted the back of the frame seems less likely to interfer with the V8 installation. Do I need to use the V8 line or will the present installation work?
